PARENT CONSULTATIONS:

If you are unsure whether therapy would be helpful for your child/adolescent but still have some questions regarding how to best handle your child's challenging behaviors or psychological development, please, feel free to email me and we can set up a consultation session. I would be happy to answer your questions, offer some guidance, support, advice, and provide you with helpful resources.

*Please note: consultations are usually not reimbursed by insurance as there is no diagnosis on file.

I look forward to working with you and/or your family and helping you accomplish your desired goals.

*Please, note that I do not specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorders, separation, divorce, mediation, or co-parenting counseling for children, adolescents, or adults/families. I do not participate in custody evaluations as I do not have the training required to do so.

I am a Licensed Certified Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C). I was trained as a Child, Adolescent, and Family Therapist at a top residential treatment facility (Jasper Mountain Center, Oregon) where I specialized in the treatment of emotionally disturbed children with severe behavior problems. I also have extensive experience in working with college students and adult patients struggling with trauma, PTSD, mood, anxiety disorders, phobias, chronic pain, grief & loss, life transitions, relationship issues, career difficulties, etc.
