Options Counseling Services of Oregon, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1991 to provide quality mental health, family preservation, life skills and domestic violence interventions to at-risk rural, urban and homeless children, adolescents, individuals, and families throughout Oregon. Each year, Options Counseling Services of Oregon provides services to over 4,000 children and families living in Oregon.
Options Counseling Services of Oregon provides a continuum of services which include:
Treatment is made available to clients in the most natural setting possible, with homes preferred over a clinic setting, unless it is in the client’s best interest otherwise. The maximum involvement of parents and other family members is encouraged whenever possible and parents are involved in developing a treatment program. Treatment is focused on increasing the child and/or adult’s ability to function more successfully in everyday life at school and/or home. Options Counseling Services of Oregon supports the preservation of family relationships and the enhancing of successful school, community and peer relations whenever possible.

- Domestic Violence Program
- Intensive in-home interventions for four to six months designed to help families keep their children at home rather than have them removed to foster care or other out-of-home placements
- Family Sexual Abuse Treatment
- Intensive Family Services
- Parent Training
- Family Decision Meeting Facilitation
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
